We are incredibly proud to share that book&zvook, Croatia’s first digital platform for audiobooks, will be participating in the 2025 London Book Fair, from March 11–13, with the support of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media. Together with Sandorf Publishing, a respected publisher and literary agency representing regional authors worldwide, we’re bringing the very best of our work to one of the most important publishing stages in the world!

At book&zvook, our mission has always been clear—to bring books closer to new generations of listeners and to build a bridge between traditional publishing and the digital age. We believe that literature deserves to be heard as much as read, and that audiobooks offer a new and exciting way to experience stories, ideas, and voices.

In London, we’ll present not only our growing collection of audiobooks but also the technology that powers our platform.

By the end of 2024, we reached nearly 150 audiobooks, welcomed over 20,000 active users, and crossed 40,000 downloads of our app—a milestone that confirms the demand for quality audio content, especially in underrepresented languages like Croatian.

For us, the London Book Fair 2025 is also a chance to showcase something particularly close to our acoustic heart: contemporary Croatian literature in English translation. Through this special edition, we’re sharing some of Croatia’s most remarkable literary voices with a global audience. Each audiobook has been carefully produced to honor the essence and depth of the original works while delivering an engaging and immersive listening experience. This is storytelling that travels across borders, languages, and cultures—something we truly believe the world is eager to hear.

We’re also excited to have brilliant Croatian authors Maša Kolanović and Monika Herceg joining us at the Croatian stand, located in the Audio Village section of the Fair. They’ll be sharing insights into their work and the importance of literature in translation—conversations we know will resonate with many.
